I’m Richard, a photographer based in Calderdale, West Yorkshire and i’m looking forward to working with you.
I specialise in creating confidence boosting imagery, motorcycle photoshoots and delivering specialist workshops. I’m easy to work with and i’m a member of A-n (the Artists network) and NUJ (National Union of Journalists), i work within the codes of conduct of these organisations.
In 2025 i am running a photographic project called “Elland: Face & Places” which has been made possible by Arts Council England & Calderdale Councils “Culturedale” celebrating 50 years of Calderdale.

Here’s some feedback from my recent work:
I had the absolute pleasure of shooting with Richard on a location motorbike shoot, and it was such an incredible experience from start to finish.
His pre-comms were excellent.. Clear, organised, and really set the tone for a smooth and enjoyable shoot. On the day, Richard was an absolute gem to work with: professional, creative, and just genuinely lovely to be around.
He had such a great eye for detail and composition, and made sure I felt comfortable and confident throughout. The energy was relaxed but focused, and it really allowed us to create some standout images. I’m so impressed with the shots we got and couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out.
Richard is not only a talented photographer, but also someone who truly makes the whole process enjoyable.
